STYLING TIPS FOR THE PERFECT PANDORA BRACELET
What does your Pandora bracelet say about you? Creating your unique Pandora bracelet is your opportunity to show the world your individuality. You don’t have a one-size-fits-all personality, so why would your jewelry? Pandora gives you hundreds of ways to express your creativity by choosing an array of colors and charms for a bracelet that is one of a kind — just like you. Here are seven styling ideas to help you build the perfect bracelet.
1. MIX YOUR METALS
Gone are the days when you had to make the tough choice between wearing all gold or all silver. Mixing silver, gold and rose tones is not only acceptable, but is the hottest new trend. Sporting mixed metals gives off the vibe that you are always up for trying something new.
2. COMPLEMENT YOURSELF
Just as your favorite shirt in that perfect shade of blue makes your eyes pop, the color in your jewelry plays a role in complementing your looks. If you’re not feeling the mixed metals look and can’t decide on silver or gold, go with the color palette that best complements your skin tone.
To determine your skin tone, look at the inside of your wrist. Do your veins appear blue or purple? Then you’re on the cool end of the spectrum. Do they appear green? Then your skin tone is on the warmer side. If you have difficulty determining, it could be you have a neutral skin tone. Lucky you — you will likely look great in everything!
Cool skin tones look best with silver and white gold metals. When choosing charms for your bracelet, focus on white diamonds and jewel tones such as pinks, purples, blues, reds, and magentas. This isn’t to say you have to follow these guidelines, however. One trend we’ve noticed lately is pairing blush with bronze and rose tones to add warmth to fair skin.
Warm skin tones look best in yellow gold. When choosing charms, look for stones in more earthy tones, such as browns, oranges, greens, yellows, peaches, corals, and turquoises. The trend we’re loving right now is pairing gold with dark greens and yellows to really complement skin with olive undertones.
3. CREATE BALANCE WITH DEPTH AND TEXTURE
To add depth to your bracelet, alternate between stationary and dangling charms. We recommend laying all of your charms out first to see how the sequence looks before adding them to your bracelet. It’s all about creating balance. You don’t want to have all of your dangling charms on one side and all of your stationary on the other.
In addition to depth, you will want to balance the textures in your bracelet. Pandora’s collection of charms come in an array of materials including glass, enamel and wood. Just as you create balance with the depth of your charms, you can alternate smooth Murano glass charms and ornate metal charms to create balance with texture.
4. PLAY UP YOUR PERSONALITY
With the endless number of charms you can choose from to adorn your bracelet, you can emulate almost any persona you wish! Bright oranges, pinks and yellows on a silver bracelet will show your inner sunshine. A sleek design composed of mostly silver charms and some Swarovski elements will speak to your classically glamourous style. The statement is yours to design!
5. SHOW YOUR TEAM SPIRIT
There’s no wrong way to support your team! Choose charms of your school or favorite team’s colors and you’ll have the perfect accessory to glam up your game day outfit. You can even add one of Pandora’s NFL charms to support your favorite team just in time for Super Bowl 50.
6. MAKE IT MEMORABLE
Remember all of your special moments with a Pandora charm! We have a charm for every milestone, from an anniversary, the birth of a child, to celebrate your furry friends, and everything in between. Building a bracelet that reminds you of all of these special moments will bring a smile to your face every time you glance at your wrist.
7. KEEP IT SIMPLE
If you have stuck to a theme for your bracelet but fall in love with a charm that doesn’t match, start a new bracelet! You don’t want to compromise the theme of your bracelet just to accommodate one charm. Why not start a new bracelet with a new theme that perfectly matches the new charm! You can wear both of your bracelets together for an eclectic look or choose the bracelet that matches your mood and look for the day. That way, you’ll always have the perfect accessory for your current style!
